Song of the Shepherd

Hear ye! Hear ye! Some Xciting news to share!

For those who enjoyed the Stage Acting and Dramatisation by Unc Mic last month, well here's a chance to hone some more of your acting skills with a real pro....not that I'm saying Unc Mic is not a pro...hehe! ACTS Church is conducting a workshop with David M. Sanborn on the 17th May 2006. That's next Wednesday...at 7.45pm. It will be held at ACTS Church and registration fees will be RM15 per pax. Those who are interested to sign up can call 03-56362147.

For those who prefer to be spectators and audience, they can watch David M. Sanborn who will be performing a one-man show about King David called Song of the Shepherd. And for those 'leng luis' out there, here's a chance to watch a 'leng chai' perform...hehe...you can catch him on the 19th - 20th May 2006. For more details, please visit www.theactschurch.org. And oh yeah...admission is free.

If you guys are wondering, who in the world is David M. Sanborn, well here's a little write-up about him:
David M. Sanborn, co-creator and star of the multi-million dollar hit musical, Judah Ben-Hur, will be performing his one-man show about King David, SONG of the SHEPHERD.

With his impersonations of Arnold Schwarzenegger (as Goliath), Keanu Reeves, Sylvester Stallone, Gene Kelly, Sean Connery, Jim Carrey and more than a dozen others, you'll see why this one-man show has already won the hearts of some 50,000 people on four continents - and why critics call it 'passionate, hilarious...truly breathtaking
~Dan Duis, WCTN-Radio~

*Please note that if you decide to go, it is purely on a personal basis. This is not a YW@p event....unless Unc Mic wants to make it so. What do you say, Unc Mic?

Cheers,
Caroline
