"This dvd is not about Herman . . . . who . . . ? It is about HERMENEUTICS. It is a 40-hour seminary teaching syllabus on rules of Bible interpretation condensed into a 70-minute dvd.

Why do we need rules to interprete scripture, you ask? Well, for one, if we do not have proper rules, we can actually make scripture to mean whatever we want it to mean! That is where all deviation teachings originate from. And right in our own backyard, we have the recent cases of the gay pastor and the other pastor who can enhance women's body parts by the laying of hands!

How do you know if the preacher is telling the truth? How do you know if you are understanding the Bible correctly? Hermeneutics.

The presenter, Todd Friel, studied to be a pastor for four years but neglected to actually get saved. He abandoned church ministry plans and did secular TV, radio and stand-up comedy for 6 years, until God saved him (from hell and stand-up comedy). Since then, Todd has combined his pastoral training and media skills effectively to serve his King!

This dvd will encourage you to want to search the scriptures like what the Bereans did. (If you do not know who the Bereans are, go check out your Bible dictionary or concordance.)
